2008 is almost over...it is just so hard to believe! As I write this it is 6:00pm on Dec 31st and I am just about to close the store up. It is quite in the shop, giving me a moment to think about all the wonderful people who have passed through our doors this year and how much we have to be thankful for.
As many of you know, this is not just your regular scrapbooking store...it is a second home to some, a girls club to others and a place where you can just be you...bad hair day or not! To have a place such as this is a true blessing in my life and it would not be if you had not entered our little store. The line between customers and friends has become a bit blurred and the store, the staff and myself are better for it.
From my heart, I want to wish all of you the very best in the New Year and to say "Thank You" for being part of Scrapbooking Made Simple. In my wildest dreams, I would have never guessed that the best thing about owning a scrapbooking store is hearing the little bells on the door letting me know a friend has stopped by.
